The open-air museum project was designed to house the statue of David by Michelangelo. It utilized a tricky plot of land in downtown Chicago and because of its open-air nature had to be made entirely of ADA ramping. This project aimed to mimic rolling hills and a winding path to allow for a slow journey to view the artwork while also encouraging
exploration of the site.
